| Seasons File Update | January 13, 2007: Recent problems with other scenery such as Orcas Island and subsequent investigation by users, Bill and Holger, revealed a problem with one of the Tongass Fjords files. Holger writes"..... Bill Womack discovered the connection between an unexpected display of "hard winter" (full snow cover) seasonal textures in areas of the Pacific Northwest and a custom seasons file we included with Tongass Fjords. This update corrects the issue - a silly mistake of yours truly - including display issues with some of the Georender photoreal titles, like Orcas Island. Installation is very easy, a simple replacement of one file with the updated version. However, please read the text file included in the zip. Thank-you to Bill and my apologies to all those who were scratching their heads about the sudden heavy winters in the Pacific Northwest....". |

| Google Earth Addition | Felix Hippmann of Hildesheim in Germany has made this Google Earth .ktm file for us. When you double click on the file (or load it into Google Earth properly) it will take you to Alaska and show you all if not most locations from Holger Sandmann's creations (float plane bases, cabins, airstrips). Many thanks Felix for making this ! |
