Updated... Version 4 !

Not long after Misty Fjords was released Allen Kriesman published his Ultimate Terrain.'Unfortunately' it covers the Misty Fjords area too and we did not have a beta copy when developing Misty Fjords. Holger and Allen have worked together now to make Misty Fjords and Ultimate Terrain blend perfectly. So if you have Ultimate Terrain AND Misty Fjords, then you want to download and install this update !

Note: The version attached here consolidates the previous versions into a single package that will work with all currently available versions of Ultimate Terrain Canada/Alaska (1.0, 1.1, and 1.2).

ATTENTION: you do NOT need it if you do not have Ultimate Terrain installed !!

What can we tell you? Misty Fjords must be one of the best researched and tested titles ever.... hardly any user problems were reported, except for those weird things caused by having add-ons from all kind of sources share the same PC. Still... there is always room for improvement and Holger has 'fixed' a few minor issues with this Update. These include a 'floating' tugboat, some 'climbing' water polygons and replacing the signs on the cabins.

Download, unzip and PLEASE read the 'readme' file before continue the install.

User additions

Below you will find 'other downloads'. These are NOT FSAddon products but rather files from people who make nice things for all of us and 'fit' into the FSAddon.com philosophy of what we like and how we like it. All these files are posted here with the explicit agreement from their creators and owners, and we want to stress that you need to honor the copyrights and other wishes of the authors (usually mentioned in the accompanying 'readme' files) !

Please NOTE that although we LOVE what they are making, we CAN NOT support the free files submitted by users, and installing them is at your own risk !

Even before the release of Misty Fjords there was a group of people working on making freeware add-ons to the add-on !! Doug Linn has set up a web site called Misty Moorings Inc, where you can find TONS of information, stories, support AND files to download. All to do with the Misty Fjords product and the region in the real Alaska.

Misty Moorings is our 'fan site' for which we are of course extremely grateful! Please pay them a visit here !!.

Quite a few of our beta testers and other enthusiastic users have made movies about flying our Misty Fjords. People like Jeff Greth, Chaders, Jun Kazama, Craig and Dex all contributed to the product and its fame by freely providing us with these wonderful movies.
