Areas for LARGE CARGO |
Jaap van Hees has kindly provided a few cargo areas in Western Europe for larger aircraft... just toget you started ! You can of course make ANY cargo area anywhere in the world with the editor included in FSCargo 1.2 !
Jaap van Hees and Emmett McRobie have made this wonderful add-on for you. It includes over 50 cargo areas for the Tongass Fjords region, including some excellent documentation ! |
Jaap van Hees and Emmett McRobie, July 26th, 2006
| V01-Vancouver+ | Special
Cargo file for Vancouver+ - Part 1 This zip contains contains 39 land and water based cargo areas on all of the airfields and SPB's (listed & unlisted) in the Vancouver area. We included AFCAD files for the 'unlisted goodies' so they will pop up in the GPS on a 10 mile radius and you can use them with the Direct-to function of the GPS. They will also be selectable in the 'World -> Go To Airport' menu. Attached is the fixed FS Cargo file set for the V+ region. Jaap and I seemed to have missed a mistake in the cfg file that had two airports with the same code (thanks, Franz). The cfg file is the only one to have been changed, but you can just replace the whole zip file. |

NEW !!!! |
Patrick 'Nanzo' Nenninger has made a set of 32 cargo areas to fit Holger Sandmann's new Glacier Bay Version 2 freeware scenery for Alaska. He promised to add helicopter areas too, as soon as he has figured a way around some problems he had with that.
| 041-South Central Alaska | Here are some quickly made areas for some
South Central Alaska Airports |

| 040-Maine-Version-2 | Here's
a new
version of the Maine, USA cargo
areas. This one has 97 land airports and 35 seaplane bases. Details
in the zip. Have fun. These blend well with my Maritimes and Quebec Canada
areas and with Scott Gridley's New Hampshire/Vermont areas.

Tom Constantine, Dec 22, 2005 |
| 039-MistyFjords | All regular airports within MistyFjords | Manolto, Dec 22, 2005 |
| 038-UK2000-Gary Summons | Also attached is one file to cover all 8 sceneries
(198 airports). If you have downloaded the other files before you may like
to replace them with just this one. Make sure you delete the earlier
Cra1UK2000Part*.CFG files from your Worlds directory or you will get duplicate entries. I have found FSCargo to be a great way of visiting airports that I hadn't been to in a long time, and consequently found that I was missing some of Garys' fixes even though I download and install all of his updates as he posts them. |

| 025-Northern Germany | Just finished 40 airports in the northern part of germany...they are best seen with aerosoft's germany 3...if you don't have that at least you should get some up-to-date-mesh for germany and get the rivers too. both are available as freeware at avsim.com or flightsim.com. | Manfred Kramer, Dec. 10, 2005 |
| 024-Florda | Done
over FreeFlow Florida. All should be compatible with default.
Also added a few missing AFCAD2 files if you need them. |
AlexF, Dec. 10, 2005 |
| 023-North Territory, Australia | Here's
the Northern Territory. Once again a lot of dirt strips with nothing
but the truck waiting. The centre of Australia used to be described on
old maps as MMBA - "miles and miles of
bl**dy Australia". |
Phil, Nov 23, 2005 |
| 022-New England Updated | I've updated NH/VT. 41 airports total - all airports at http://www.airnav.com/airports/us/NH and http://www.airnav.com/airports/us/VT except for a few that aren't in FS or are badly in need of AFCAD work! This update uses several addons, but should work with default in almost every instance. I've indicated it's for addon scenery anyway. The addons are freeware and described in the zip - Links included. | Scott Gridley, Nov 23, 2005 |
| 021-Connecticut | Connecticut cargo areas. All airports (21
total) listed at http://www.airnav.com/airports/us/CT except
the heliports which aren't in FS9. Designed with FREEflow New England,
but should work with default or UT USA.

| 020-Quebec, Canada | 131 fields in Quebec Canada. One of my favorite
travel destinations, a place of so many surprises and so much good food
.

| 019-South Australia | Here's
South Australia as promised- boy am I in trouble with the wife.
I've used a large number of addon sceneries, mesh & landclass all of
which can be found at www.simzdownunder.com & www.virtualvfr.com You'll find that a lot of the airports are rough dirt strips with nothing but the truck waiting for your cargo - that's what it's like in the Outback. In fact FS puts a lot more buildings there than there actually are. |
Phil, Nov 23, 2005 |
| 018-Victoria-Australia | To
my wife's disgust I've misspent half of today putting cargo areas on
most of the airports in the state of Victoria in Australia. To get all
the Victorian airports left out of the default MSFS you'll have to download
sabs_vic, sabs_vic_airfieldsv12 & sabs_vic_airfieldsv13 from
Avsim or Flightsim.com. I recommend downloading Melb3 from the same sites
as well. |
Phil, Nov 23, 2005 |
| 017-Rhode Island | Seven airports as listed at airnav's RI directory:
KBID, KUUU, KOQU, KSFZ, KPVD, 08R, KWST. Designed using FlightScenery's
FlightZone Rhode Island and FREEflow, probably works with UTUSA or default.
Accurate placement according to real-world airport layout where possible.
KPVD is a fun one! |
Scott Gridley, Nov 23, 2005 |
| 016-UK2000-6 | Attached
are the areas for Gary Summons UK2000 Part 6. 31 airports are included.
About 3 are missing due to a lack of an ICAO code. |
David, Nov 23, 2005 |
| 015-SE Alaska Freeware | Here
are 21 airports in SE Alaska. About 1/2 are seabases and the rest land
strips. I do have addon scenery at some of these bases, but I think it
will work fine without the addon scenery. Some of the bases will just
have the FSC scenery and nothing else if you're missing the addon scenery
I use.
The addon scenery I use is 'Alaskan Docks SE: Package #1' by Dave Erickson,
'Sitka Scenery' by Al Gay and 'Gustavus Airport' by Frank Betts.

| 012-North Michigan | Here are 20 areas in Northern Michigan. All are medium or small. 4 water areas. All are north of Traverse City(KTVC) in the lower or upper penninsula. | Rick Kirk, Nov. 17, 2005 |
