Below we have listed an overview of the various 'series' of products that we publish and/or sell. The names of the series and products that are not yet published are subject to change. We feel that categorizing the products in series will enable you to quickly understand what 'kind of' product you are buying and it also gives you the ability to 'collect' multiple titles and any or more of the series. Also check out our new dedicated forums.

FSAddon Publishing does MORE than just organize, design and publish products. We also help independent authors market their products, provide additional services to them, such as copy writing, documentation, research and mediation. The results of those activities can be found under 'Services'.

The new ‘Missions’ that Microsoft introduced with their latest iteration of the Flight Simulator franchise, Flight Simulator X, drew a lot of excitement. Not only would the missions give something ‘to do’ and possibly attract a whole new breed of flightsimmers. It would also be something ‘to do’ in the more creative sene; MAKING MISSIONS YOURSELF and adding to the sim experience that way.

Alas…. the implementation was less than stellar in the area of design and building.

Although FSAddon.com and Silver Cloud Publishing so far have mainly marketed their own products, we are now happy to recommend something that is not ours, nor made for MS Flight Simulator.
Being a helicopter fan myself I have 'played' every helo simulation and only one or two were good enough to keep me glued to the monitor. The first was the good old Longbow, and the other was Enemy Engaged.

Released in 2000, the original Enemy Engaged set the standard for 21st century flight sims with stunningly realistic visuals and attention to detail. Enemy Engaged 2 is set to take the series even further with new dynamic missions and a complete overhaul of the graphics and audio to bring the game up to date with the latest and best flight simulations available.

Enemy Engaged 2 has been in development since early 2005 and is scheduled for release in April 2007.

Tongass Fjords is the successor and complement to Misty Fjords. Tongass Fjords is a major cooperation between Holger Sandmann and Bill Womack, now not only including the already legendary 'Sandmann Landscape' but also a true-to-life regional airport (Sitka), the town of Petersburgh and quite a few other settlements, airports, seaplane bases and harbors.

Our BEST title to date without any doubt..... Tongass Fjords covers 70.000 square kilometers of breathtaking Alaskan landscapes between Misty Fjords and Juneau. An area far larger than Switzerland, for instance.
Also included Sitka Airport and town, Petersburg, Wrangel and many more. Airfields, seaplane bases, AI shipping and air traffic.

It has ALL of the REAL landscape's features; exact coastlines, lakes, rivers, mountains..... based on topographical maps of the area. Special textures to show you glaciers, forestry work, gravel beds in the rivers, forest and snow depending on altitude and season, townships etc. All the roads (not that there are many), settlements, towns, with special Landclass files.

As a service to all our customers who not only enjoy the various sceneries and aircraft, but who would also like to MEET each other on-line, we provide quite a number of multiplayer sessions, using the free FSHost server software. (Please visit the makers of that wonderful bit of software sometime!).

Unfortunately, FSHost only runs on Windows Server software, and servers with that Operating System are extremely expensive (compared to the free Linux OS ;-) ).

Therefore we would welcome some help in funding this service, which is managed and paid for on personal title by François himself. You can donate 10 Euros (or 'purchase' multiple donations), by either clicking on the PayPal button below (which will send your most appreciated donations STRAIGHT to the appropriate bank account).
These donations are ONLY used to pay for the dedicated server that François rents for the purpose !!

A brand new 'action add-on' has been developed by Maurizio Gavioli, Bill Womack and Francois Dumas. Many Flight Simulator users complain that they have 'nothing to do'. Sure, you can fly around, try various aircraft, download thousands of freeware sceneries and 'look at them'..... but then what?
Many customers want some sort of assignment, some goal to use their aircraft for.

THAT is exactly what FSCargo and subsequent add-ons will bring you. This first product in the FSAction Series will provide simmers with cargo transport assignments for various aircraft. Subsequent releases will expand the areas to fly and add other possibilities. Check back often for more news about this exciting product !

Another wildly exciting title featuring Holger Sandmann's unique landscapig technique, coupled to Jon Patch's incredible patience and eye for detail. Jon Patch set out to build Vancouver... and a huge surrounding area, almost the size of Misty Fjords. And he did !
Vancouver+ Part 1 consists of Vancouver City with most of its major buildings and bridges, all the roads and railroads in exact detail for the entire region (which measures 30.000 square kilometers !!!), thousands of hand-placed autogen buildings, 100's of custom made bridges, some 40+ improved airfields, heli pads, private fields and seaplane bases, Pitt Meadows Airfield in exacting detail, it's own detailed mesh, landclass and custom textures. Exact coast lines and river beds, even the ski runs on Whistler Mountain are portrayed !!
And did I mention custom made AI aircraft and traffic? Floatplanes, helicopters, cruise shops and other vessels make the area come alive !!

Note:
Vancouver International Airport CYVR is planned for 2007 and will be designed by Bill Womack and Jon Patch primarily.
Vancouver+ Part 2 will fit seamless into the wonderful landscape that is laid down in Part 1, and the two products will complement each other, thus giving simmers one of the best areas in FS to fly.

Vancouver+ - Part 2's release date is not known yet. Check our website regularly for news and updates! We are also not entirely certain yet if we can make CYVR for FS2004... most likely it will be an FSX product now.

Misty Fjords

Holger Sandmann is our undisputed master when it comes to 'landscaping'. He makes LARGE areas of the flight simulator landscape look REAL. You will be amazed when you see this landscape unfold before your eyes when flying over it. Only a small part of the improvements are caused by high resolution mesh. Far more important are the replacement of the coastlines and rivers, lakes and roads. And the replacement of default textures, addition of special textures, glaciers, frozen water and more. This is what sets Holger's titles apart from the 'rest' and raises the bar of 'reality and immersion' once again!

Holger and the crew are now working on an even bigger title, Tongas Fjords, which will stretch the area covered further to the North and be fully compatible to Misty Fjords, FSCargo, Flight1's UT and other such titles. Stay tuned !!

Bob Bernstein has been busy for many months in building a whole new Harvey Field/Monroe title for FSAddon. Initially we thought it would be released before the summer 2004, but continuous improvements and extensions have ported the release date well out towards early 2005 culminating in the final release date of February 24th, 2005! Needless to say that it is now a much improved and extensive version compared to the FS2002 freeware title Bob once made. With the help of IntelliScene from Maurizio Gavioli, the programming talents of Oliver Pabst and the sounds from Nick Schreger this Harvey/Monroe has turned out to be a VERY interesting title and a must-have for all General Aviation simmers !

New World Series

The New World Series features 'rural airports' that are in some way or other linked to not only the technology (and noise) of flying, but also the peace of nature. Places where one can hang over the fence on a Sunday afternoon in summer and watch the planes come and go... and dream about flying one day oneself. But also places where one can hear the birds sing in the nearby forest on a quiet Sunday morning. Places where one can meet friends and aviation enthusiasts, people who fly because they love to fly.... or just love to watch it.

Orcas Island

One of Richard Goldstein's most successful products ever, so far only surpassed by his Emma Field, Orcas Island takes you to the place where the Orca's gather each year, an island between Washington State and Vancouver Island. The scenery is breathtaking, with meticulously painted photographic base textures in high resolution, the airfield with all its buildings in photoreal fashion, many objects around the island...... and GeoMotion ! The latter makes things MOVE..... Orca's jump out of the waves and swim around, mechanics walk around on the airfield, and many more to dicsover.
Last but notleast of course the famous Georender 'atmosphere' guaranteeing the feeling of 'actually being there' !

Lake Wenatchee/Skykomish is the second title that Richard Goldstein published under the FSAddon brand and models two very small rural airfields in Washington State, US. He has used his usual eye for detail and very high quality texturing skills to portray the buildings and surroundings in photographic quality. Although not as diverse and complaex as Orcas Island, and with less 'goodies', these are certainly interesting for bush and GA flyers who like the serenity of the Washington nature and the Georender atmosphere.

VideoTutorials Series

When Tim Mandeville started his series of video tutorials he was the first author to join FSAddon Publishing. Although a niche product the tutorials have been selling well and are still being bought today. We have 4 of them in the series now, covering such things as the MS flight planner, the radio stacks, the GPS (very popular) and the weather. Tim is always on the lookout for suggestions for further tutorials, so let us know if you have a special need!

We will cover each of those subjects in other tutorials. Here we concentrate on the Radio Stack itself. Mostly we use the built-in stack we see in many light aircraft. There are however many variations and third party products to choose from
